Irish Fiddle
How can I get my parents to buy me a new violin/ fiddle?
Ok, so I love to play the violin, not so much classical more folk, irish folk, so basically fiddle.
I sat down with it on friday night,but the bridge snapped off, it has had a slit in the wood for a while.
But how can I get my parents to buy me a new one, I’m dieing not being able to play ahhh… 
The one I’m looking at is £45 I have £12 lol

Explain to them that it’s a long-term investment in your creative future…they buy it for you now and you learn more and more and get better and have that one fiddle for a long time, so really over say 10 years, they’re only investing a little a year to look at it that way.
OR
..offer to go halves with them and pay for half yourself.
OR
…ask them to give you some responsibilities they can pay you for..like chores, extra tasks like mowing the lawn, washing cars, etc. and build up the money you need to buy one on your own.
