Inlay Take
i have a edward middleton black powder double barrel but was actually told it was an 11 guage any info?
it has a what i was told was silver inlay on top of a hunter dog bird name on both side edward middleton when you take gun apart there are markings some that look like a bold + any info? estimated value?
You can measure the bore….but, I think its a 12ga. Price for a average one is about 300.00 If its in real good shape it maybe worth 400-500. Don’t shoot it. Its really not safe to shoot unless its checked out by a gunsmith.A 12-gauge shotgun, nominally 18.5 mm (0.729 inches), can range from a tight 18.3 mm to an extreme overbore of 20.3 mm.
