that it is easier to learn?
Ok, so I'm trying to learn either guitar or bass I like both about equally, but I have little time to learn (full-time job) and my apartment complex is well populated but I have a friend who wants to sell me an old acoustic guitar made in Mexico and an old Hohner 4 string electric bass amplifier with a small 9-volt isn't strong, but which one is faster to learn?? cause I am very inclined towards the bass, but want to know what would be faster and easier to learn and what instrument would be best for my situation
Your both equally difficult to master. The bass can be more difficult indeed master, since there is less guitar virtuoso bassists, although in proportion the total number of players on the instrument, under virtuous few. However, if you just want to play simple songs, then the bass is more easy. Does not sound like you're so serious, but you might want to be tested with the guitar, because once you learn the chords, it's more fun to play guitar himself from what is low, since the guitar is more than a lead instrument. I think it would have more fun with the guitar, but if you really like music funk, then a low might be better for you. They are not so different from each other, so you might consider learning both. Once you learn the theory is easily applied to both instruments, from strings of a bass' strings are 3-6 on a guitar.
