So the waves Morcheeba with some new things, and I'm listening to a remix of Leons afternoon surf the song called "In spite of that." Very nice and quiet but still plenty of sounds and clicks Surfing Leons Machine 'remix.

"As a corporation of some refreshments discovered shortly after modifying the recipe in which he built his empire, sometimes you just have to accept that some things are more how tasty they were, and leave it at that. "Blood as lemonade is the album that have been searching for all these years, one that takes the essence of the earlier classics such as who can you trust? and Big Calm, and transports you to exotic new places. It also is both his most introspective album, with songs that illuminate the personal situation the band, and more outward, as Paul Godfrey lyrics chasing characters in unfamiliar territory: the vampire avenger of "Blood and lemonade, abandoned astronaut 'although' the killer dinner party host of the "recipe for disaster", the Viking explorers' drum beat.
"It all adds to the satisfaction of albums over a career now moving into its 15 years, as first outlined the Morcheeba plan trip-hop with his debut album who can you trust? is a journey that took the Godfreys in his native Kent to appear in front of 60,000 ecstatic fans in Brazil and China, and in the way that allowed them to play with musical heroes like Big Daddy Kane, David Byrne, Kurt Wagner and Slick Rick. But after four successful albums together, The brothers parted with Skye, who left to pursue his solo career, working with producers Daniel Lanois and Gary Clark for his first album in mind how you go, and producer Ivor Guest for their second album to keep secrets. Their replacements did not meet Godfreys' exacting standards, however, and for their sixth album Dive Deep Morcheeba were actually a duo led by a series of guest vocalists. "'It was Ross who was the whole thing, really, "says Paul." I moved here from semi-retirement in France after the deep dive, take it easy and work in music in my spare time. Ross had gone to Hollywood to become a film composer, but he made a U-turn rate and wanted the old band again together, which was very difficult for us to negotiate our way through. Obviously, there were angry Skye massively in the past, so there was not much deal with there. The conclusion was that we were doing for the band's legacy, and for the fans. We become more and more aware that a lot of young fans are just discovering Morcheeba, and then learn that the band does not really exist in the way I thought he did. Therefore became very important to put back together real, for that reason. Not that we had to pay massive tax bills or anything, just felt like I should go back and pay homage to our race and our fans, to put aside personal differences and just get on with it. "
However, There were logistical problems to overcome, at least not those caused by living in places as distant. Work in progress would be sent back and forth between France, Hollywood Surrey, little by little taking shape. "It was completely cold and Ross work with Paul again," says Skye. "We really do not see much of each other, because we recorded separate things: hire some nice recording equipment and Ross came to my home in Surrey to show me how to use it, and after that I gave to her. They playbacks sent me, I loaded into GarageBand and came up with melodies, then sent back to Ross and Paul, who had come with the lyrics of the tunes and send back to me to sing. In my solo albums, I was writing my own lyrics, but with Morcheeba, I just to get to the melodies, which is what I am good, and let the letters of Paul. Sometimes I wondered how to display a song if I had any history in mind, and then had to write lyrics about history. It was a real collaboration.
"'Ross recorded some guitar at his home in Hollywood, and recorded his voice Skye his home in Surrey, and then brought them all together here, "says Paul of his home studio in France." "The changing circumstances of the music industry, Ross feels, is both a problem and an opportunity. When he and Paul began playing in bands R & B, there was a flourishing university party scene, bars and clubs that might encourage young talent. "But that has been so marginalized, unless you go to school or the British are simply not the X Factor get a shot at it. And the people who make good genuine music simply will not do it that way. "On the other hand, the ongoing collapse of old ways of the music industry has released the musicians kind of business demands that led to the brink of depression Morcheeba.
