Peruvian Music and Instruments
The music of Peru is based on the sounds of the musical roots of this ancient Andean country in combination with the influences of the Spanish colonial era music. There are many varieties of Peruvian music, including coastal Peruvian music, traditional music land high, and Peru Black which is a fusion of traditional songs and Afro-Caribbeans. Another type of Peruvian popular music called Huayana and is very similar to pre-Columbian music. Peru's coastal music has a fusion style, while the Peruvian Andean music is originally from Peru.
Established in 1969, is a Black Peru Afro-Peruvian music designed to celebrate and preserve black culture and heritage of the Peruvian coast. He earned a reputation as the conventional dance rescued and music and became known internationally with the release of the album, "The Soul of Black Peru", with songs by popular singers Peru Black. In 2001, Time Square published recordings of the first international record the song "United Nations Blood Don." At the time of Black Peru had only twelve members, but has since grown to thirty, all of whom are very talented.
The charango is the national instrument of Peru and is an important part in Peruvian music a lot. It has five strings and is similar to a mandolin or ukulele. You can have a quality harp, as if played as a plucked instrument, but they do have a sound stronger and more rhythmic if played as an instrument to strum.
Other instruments used in Peruvian music lutes, guitars, mandolins, harps, pan pipes and bells made of toenails of flames! A very simple, very popular along the coast is the "drawer", which means "Box." It is a rectangular wooden box that has a whole to deliver sound and is just drumming with his hands while the player sits it!
The tube pan is an instrument consisting of five or more tubes that gradually increase in size and duration, based on the principle of closed tube, which is a tube that is closed at one end and has a single frequency. It has long been considered a popular folk instrument and is determined to be the first harmonic, the predecessor Pipe organ and harmonica. The modern mandolin has twelve strings are tuned in pairs and is classified as part of the Hornbostel Sachs set musical instruments.
The vihuela is a type of guitar or lute derivatives XV and XVI century in Spain, where his "Christian" is earned popularity drift in the Arabian lute. Usually has six strings and is very comfortable to hold.
