How to clean your lead guitar technique – Part 2 find the solution to fixing neglected Lead Guitar Playing

If you have problems playing clean guitar, the more likely this is due to excessive noise guitar string. For most guitarists, this area of refining his technique lead guitar can have nothing to do with improving his game, "said they want to hear." The root of the problem lies in the notes (strings) that do "not" want to hear.

If the articulation of the notes you want to play exactly, but still have difficulty finding their first guitar playing a clean sound, then this article will help you improve your guitar technique, eliminating unwanted noise guitar string.

With In order to effectively mute the guitar strings that do not want to be heard is to use two completely different sets of techniques mute: to stop unwanted noise from the guitar string down (in pitch) strings, and one to mute the higher (in pitch) strings.

Although there is more than a way to cancel the guitar strings, some methods have advantages others do not and therefore (in my opinion at least) better.

Mute the strings serious

Many players of the guitar with the palm of your hand choose to mute the bass strings. Although this technique is quite good at keeping most of the strings calmer there are two major disadvantages with this technique.

1. Mute with your palm cause a slight delay in the silencing of a string just play one time before. This delay makes brief moments of unwanted noise guitar string. This happens for two main reasons:

1. The flesh of the palm is much softer than the thumb side, so it takes longer for the palm of your hand to effectively stop the chain ring.
2. It is not easy to obtain his palm in the perfect position for consistent and reliable silent chains that are adjacent to which they are playing in all game situations.

1. When you use your palm to mute the unwanted string noise, the natural position of the guitar pick (when not playing) is far from the strings. This is what I call the "natural point of rest."

When your selection is at rest and away from the strings (between playing each note), which makes your hand choose to work harder and significantly increases the possibility of sloppy play, noise and slower chain picking speed.

A great solution to these problems (and improve your guitar technique) is moved with the thumb of the hand to choose for all children (in pitch) strings like this.

Note that the "Natural foothold" to use the general silencing is now on the ropes (as shown in the image above). This greatly reduces wasted motion and lets you take faster with less effort.

Mute the strings Superior

Many guitar players are fully aware of the potential for silencing unwanted noise guitar string of the highest (thinnest) and chains of this part your game is often a cause of sloppy guitar.

In fact there are two main techniques to silence the noise of the chains I teach high my students when training to improve your guitar technique.

The first technique is to use the bottom (the side of the fingerprint) of the index finger the restless hand. This part of your finger is used to "touch lightly" higher than the strings to mute. The key word in the last sentence is "Knocked Up." You do not want to push so hard that the notes begin to sound regular fretted notes. Simply place your finger on them which prevents them from ringing.

In addition, these channels can be muted than using unused fingers picking hand (the fingers that are not being used to maintain peak, as middle, ring and little fingers).

This additional layer of silencing says there is no possibility that the chains higher than the one playing sloppy sound and add unwanted noise in your guitar string to play the guitar.

When these ideas are combined with chain-silencing techniques mute the lower strings, your game will instantly become much cleaner than before. Now, every time you play, the only guitar strings that are making sound are those who are playing!
