Guitar Master
How long will it take to master the guitar?
I started to learn guitar for a couple of months … i go to guitar class after school. and practice in my home whenever I can …. I should be good now? and if you are a guitar teacher ,…. How long did it take to get this right?
I do not think any more complete master of the guitar, I've been playing and teaching for over thirty-five years and am still learning new things with the guitar …… there is always something new to learn ….. playing is the newest. It also depends on your ability, do you have perfect pitch, you a musical genius, if so, who knows, some may play unbelievable, after two years of study, so it depends on the person. I mean, after about five years I did very well in playing the guitar, but it was eight hours a day playing, I use to set my alarm for four o'clock, so it could get some practice time ….. and then again after dinner, and then at the end of the night. On weekends he would play for hours …. guitar is not an instrument you can learn all night …. that takes time, practice, patience, and each study day ….. not when in the mood. My best students study all day and you can tell when they come to their classes. It takes months to get the calluses that are required to play without pain, not to mention ready to strengthen your muscles the demands of playing ….. people do not realize that there is much pain involved in the guitar …. but for me it is worth every minute of it. So if you have been playing for a couple of months will not be discouraged, it takes time, not months ….. One year playing every day and then see where and under ……. PLEASE do not give up too soon, everything will come together soon !!!!!!! Good luck!
