Drum Doumbeks
Hello, I’ve got a drum as a present, but I do not know how to play on it. How can I learn?
Some instructions I can see an sites, or some software that can help me with learning, I use Mac by the way, speaking of which is Garageband, useful for this purpose?

I know that the book is the best solution, but currently I live in Italy, and all the books available to me will be in Italian, and I do not speak very well in Italian.
You weill definitely need some books try preliminary grade or grade 1 you’ll pick it up in no time! Also the ‘Drums For Dummies’ book was really useful for me too.
Also just keeps googling and you’ll find useful stuff. You tube has really handy tutorials on almost everything from the 4:4 beat to spinning your sticks ^_^
Also try getting a tutor or some lessons. If it;s not possible get someone who knows how to play to have a listen to you play. They can pick up on your strengths and weaknesses. After all there is nothing quite as bad as learning bad technique because it becomes habit.
Pratice pratice practice my friend! Helping out at music event around school/college is useful too. Even join a band ^_^
